Ten Medical Design AB (10MD) has performed further laboratory tests of TeXray, the newly developed material for radiation protection.
Previous tests have shown that TeXray is capable of providing sufficient radiation protection for healthcare staff working in a radiation environment. Based on these promising tests, 10MD has decided to continue its development by optimizing TeXray for additional features such as breathability and washability. Tests have now been performed in collaboration with researchers at Swerea and Sahlgrenska University Hospital and 10MD is satified with the results.
“When TeXray can fulfil the unmet customer needs for a radiation protection material that is cool and hygienic, we foresee that this could revolutionize the market”, says Petra Apell, one of the founders of 10MD.
