Vinnova has decided to grant a 10MD application. Medtech4Health, a strategic funding program at Vinnova, has decided to grant a 10MD funding application.

“We are thrilled to receive this important grant from Vinnova. The grant gives us the opportunity to broaden our competency and strengthen our team with an employee focusing on regulatory and quality assurance,” says Petra Apell, co-founder and Business Developer at 10MD.

Vinnova is the Swedish governmental agency for innovation systems with the mission to boost sustainable growth. This is primarily executed by funding innovation and research related projects.

10MD has developed the first radiation protection textile – TeXray. TeXray is patented and constitutes a breathable woven fabric that protects the user from harmful radiation during surgical interventions. HeadPeace, the company´s first product, was recently clinically validated by users at Sahlgrenska University Hospital and Halland Regional Hospital in Sweden.
