The Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth (Tillväxtverket), a Swedish government agency organized under the Ministry of Enterprise, has decided to grant Texray funding for a new project with aim to improve productivity and capacity in the manufacturing process. The project will be conducted together with ALTEN Group and will be initiated immediately.

Texray develops a patented radiation protection textile addressing the need for comfortable personal protection equipment (PPE). For Medical professionals currently using various radiation protection garments during X-ray-guided surgical interventions, Texray has designed HeadPeace, a head cap and a MindPeace, a thyroid collar that combined reduces radiation exposure by extended 74%, compared to when using the traditional designs available on the market.

LINC (Leipzig interventional course) is a live course for different medical specialities that perform endovasular interventions and attracts around 5 000 vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, angiologists and cardiologists from all over the world. During the annual event, LINC promoted a”ProtectYourBrain” campaign in order to increase the awareness of personal protection equipment (PPE).

10MD gains market access for the new product MindPeace.

Heartlive is the annual congress for interventional heart medicine within the German Cardiac Society. It is designed and organized by universities, hospitals and established physicans. It is a well-attended meeting with a high number of live cases and many didactically prepared cases. Congress attendees had the opportunity to test HeadPeace and sign up for the new product, MindPeace (patent pending, 10MD, Sweden), as soon it will become available on the European market.
